Children's Privacy
How we protect kids ยท COPPA compliance ยท Last updated: August 17, 2026
๐งธ Child safety first
PlaydatesGo is an app for parents. Children do not have accounts, do not sign in, and cannot be contacted through the app. All child information in PlaydatesGo is entered and controlled by a parent or legal guardian.
โ Parental consent
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Information about children under 13 is collected only from their parent or guardian, with that parent's consent, as part of the parent's own account.
๐ Private by default
Children's full details โ names, photos, and specifics โ live on private records visible only to their own parent. Other families see at most an age, interests, and (only if the parent opts in) a first name. Precise locations and home addresses are never public.
๐๏ธ Parents stay in control
Parents can review, update, or delete their children's information at any time from within the app. Deleting your account removes your family's data โ including children's information and photos โ from our systems.
๐ฆ Limited collection
We collect only what the app needs to work: an age and interests power age-appropriate activity suggestions, nothing more. We never sell personal information, show no ads, and use no third-party ad tracking.
